Product: Drylining, Insulation, Plasterboard, Fire Protection, Cladding, Facades

Location: South London / Kent / Sussex

Circa £40-45k.

This is a BIG ROLE, a KEY STRATEGIC REGION with FANTASTIC POTENTIAL to make a name for yourself. It needs a real AMBITIOUS INDIVIDUAL with the drive to succeed.

We are recruiting an important role for our client. Our client is an International Manufacturer of drylining and insulation materials for commercial interiors and structural insulation / building envelope. (Plasterboard, drywall, partitioning, fire protection, suspended ceilings, external cladding and facades as well as general load bearing structures).

The role is selling into the Main & Sub Contractors, working closely with our clients’ Specification Teams as well as ensuring the supply chain and back selling via the main distribution markets. You will be inheriting a sales budget of £10m and there is huge potential to increase this considerable.

It is an unusual role for a manufacturer as you will be working with a range of products and applications. As such product knowledge is not essential. Someone from a Construction Sales background within interiors, insulation or building envelope, external cladding, facades would certainly be of interest, but this is certainly not exclusive.

We want to hear from anyone with a Construction Sales background with either a manufacturer or distributor.

The role is focusing on commercially supporting specifications by developing the relationships with Main Contractors, Sub Contractors and Installers, as well as the specialist distributors.

Working on a variety of commercial projects throughout the region to ensure our clients products continue to cement their market position within the insulation and commercial interiors sector. Mainly working on large projects, you will develop a portfolio of customers as well as developing your own business. Building on relations with architects, contractors and distributors. Enabling commercial projects are won, the products remain specified and seeing the project through to a successful completion.

Knowledge of drylining / drywall / partitioning / interiors / insulation materials would be a bonus but by no means a requirement. The focus in on finding the right person who has sales experience within building distribution and working with buyers at all levels.
